Forms can be returned to us by email click here, post to the Worcester BID office at 4 Copenhagen Street, Worcester, WR1 2EY or contact a Street Ranger to arrange collection (Martin – 07982 405009 or Karl – 07757 463992). Please note that forms must be returned to the office by Monday 31st August 2015.
Offers will be uploaded to www.worcesterbid.com/students and promoted via our dedicated Worcester BID Student Twitter and Facebook pages. Please also use #StudentsWorc and #offersworc in your own messages and we will look out for your posts to retweet/share them accordingly.
Targeted Google display network adverts, social media and promotional postcards will be used to drive students to our website featuring your student offers. We will produce a postcard that will be distributed at the University of Worcester’s Freshers’ Fair on Monday 21st September, at the CrownGate Student Takeover on 15th October, via local colleges and BID businesses.
Worcester Foodie Fortnight, a new Worcester BID campaign aimed at boosting awareness and trade at food and drink business in Worcester city centre, has concluded last weekend. We would like to thank more than 50 businesses who participated in this campaign by providing breakfast & lunch club offers, special £5 & £10 deals, featuring on the food & drink trail, organising in-store activities, sponsoring competition prizes and making the city centre look great with bunting and special themed window displays.
A big thank you to the contestants from Mac & Jacs (Friar St), Coffee Dough (Chapel Walk), Costa Coffee (The Cross), My Coffee (The Cross) and House of Coffee (High Street) who showed their artist skills by participating in the Latte Art competition on Saturday on the Master Class Stage, Broad Street. There were two rounds the first was a copycat round and the second a freestyle round, where the barista decided on their own artwork. The designs were judged by The Major of Worcester and Hursty from Free Radios breakfast show. Congratulations to the overall winner Andres from House of Coffee and runners-up Dan from Mac & Jac’s and Adrian from Coffee Dough.
Various retailers around the city participated in the Foodie Shop Window Competition, there were two awards up for grabs the professionally judged and the best window as voted for by the public. The winners are

The Foodie Fortnight campaign was built around the Worcester Foodie Festival, which attracted thousands of visitors to the city centre last weekend with celebrity chefs Jean-Christophe Novelli and Felice Tocchini having proven to be the stars of the show with their free cookery demos.
Footfall on Saturday 1st August was up 52% on the previous Saturday and 30% up on the 2014 Foodie Festival Saturday. On Sunday 2nd August the event led to a 91% increase in footfall on the previous Sunday and 9% up on the 2014 Foodie Festival Sunday.
