Christmas in Worcester

Well it is that week again – the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre begins tomorrow and is being run for the first time by LSD Promotions who also operate the markets in the city centre. The campaign to promote the city at this crucial period is underway with some fantastic street entertainment, parking offers, details on shop opening hours and events, as well as an extensive media and advertising campaign – details of all of which can be found on our special Christmas in Worcester website. Christmas Window Dressing Competition
The festive season is fast approaching and many shop windows have that inviting warm glow.  To showcase the great creativity that has gone into these Christmas displays and to reward the efforts made by businesses and their staff.  The Worcester News is giving you the opportunity to enter the new Christmas Window Dressing Competition.  For further details please click here.  The sign up deadline is 4th December.

The results and feedback have been excellent so far with one business remarking ‘It’s brilliant. Got to be worth ALL of the annual BID fee!!’. The attached poster relates to the Police Citizen Academy, which is a free course for 25 adults (over 18) to gain an insight into the work of mainly the police, but also linking in with partners, such as Hereford and Worcester Fire Service.
